Boleng, Sep 27: The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, organised in line with the Seva Aapke Dwar initiative, was held today at the Assembly Shed of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Boleng, with the objective of facilitating public access to various government schemes and services.

The programme was graced by Shri P. D. Sona, Hon’ble Minister for Education, RWD, Parliamentary Affairs and Library, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Ojing Tasing, Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Transport and Cooperation, as the Guest of Honour.

The camp witnessed active participation from various government departments, banking institutions and members of the public. A total of 18 departments and institutions participated in the programme, providing a common platform for citizens to access government services and seek assistance under various welfare schemes. The initiative aimed at strengthening last-mile service delivery and ensuring that the benefits of government programmes reach the intended beneficiaries.

Following the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the newly completed infrastructure development of Government Higher Secondary School, Boleng, was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Education Minister, Shri P. D. Sona, in the august presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri Ojing Tasing and other dignitaries.

The programme was attended by HMLA-cum-Advisor Shri Talem Taboh, former Minister Shri Tahong Tatak, the Zilla Parishad Chairperson (ZPC), Siang, the Deputy Commissioner, Siang, the Superintendent of Police, Siang, Heads of Departments, teachers, students, government officials and members of the public.

Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Education Minister appreciated the quality of the infrastructure work and encouraged the students to remain sincere and dedicated towards their studies. He also urged them to take proper care of the newly constructed school building and make the best possible use of the facilities provided. The Minister further assured that the remaining furniture and other essential facilities would be provided subsequently.

The inauguration marks a significant milestone in strengthening educational infrastructure in Boleng and providing students with a better and more conducive learning environment.

The twin programmes reflected the commitment of the government towards accessible public service delivery and the continued development of essential infrastructure in Siang District, making the day a significant occasion for the people of Boleng. (DIPRO)
