AALO, Aug 30: The NSS Unit and Sports Club of SFS College, Aalo, in collaboration with the 20th ITBP, Aalo, observed National Sports Day by organizing a friendly football match between the SFS College team and the 20th ITBP team on 29th August 2026.

The programme was organized to commemorate National Sports Day and pay tribute to the legendary Indian hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand, whose outstanding achievements and immense contribution to Indian sports continue to inspire generations of sportspersons.

Before the commencement of the programme, the players and participants took a pledge to uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, unity, and teamwork. The match was played with great enthusiasm and in the spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship. The SFS College boys’ team emerged victorious in the friendly match. (DIPRO)
