Motivational visit to Sainik school East Siang at Sugar military station

PASIGHAT, Oct 4: Troops of Spear Corps hosted 86 cadets and staff of Sainik School East Siang at Sigar Military Station on 03 October 2026 for a motivational visit aimed at providing young minds a closer insight into the ethos, discipline and professional life of the Indian Army.
The programme commenced with a welcome interaction, followed by motivational addresses encouraging the cadets to pursue excellence with discipline, determination and a strong sense of purpose. Interactive sessions on mental wellbeing and personality development further highlighted the importance of emotional resilience, self-confidence, leadership and holistic development.
The cadets witnessed an impressive Army Martial Arts Routine (AMAR) demonstration showcasing physical fitness, agility, precision and teamwork. An equipment display provided them an opportunity to closely observe military equipment and understand its operational relevance
Adding an experiential dimension to the visit, the cadets participated in activities at the Battle Obstacle Course and Rock Climbing, challenging them to test their endurance, confidence and team spirit. A vibrant Bhangra performance further added to the camaraderie and enthusiasm of the day.
Motivational videos on ‘Join Indian Army’ and interactions with Army personnel also acquainted the cadets with various opportunities in the Armed Forces and offered them a glimpse into the challenges, responsibilities and pride associated with life in uniform.
The visit proved to be an enriching Know Your Army experience, reinforcing the values of courage, discipline, teamwork and Service Before Self. The initiative reflected the Indian Army’s continued commitment towards youth engagement and nation-building, while inspiring young cadets to build confidence, pursue their aspirations and emerge as responsible leaders of tomorrow.
