ITANAGAR, Oct 15: The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt Gen KT Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd.), presented the ‘Land of Rising Sun Plaque for Excellence’ to Shri Pawan Kumar Sain, Commissioner to the Governor, at Lok Bhavan, Itanagar, on 15th October 2026, in recognition of his outstanding administrative leadership, exemplary service and commitment to excellence.

The Governor commended Shri Sain for his administrative acumen, sound judgement, organizational abilities and result-oriented approach, which significantly contributed to the efficient management of the Governor’s Secretariat and the smooth functioning of its various wings. He appreciated Shri Sain’s dedication to maintaining administrative discipline, ensuring effective coordination and facilitating timely decision-making.

As Shri Sain relinquishes charge as Commissioner to the Governor, the recognition acknowledges his valuable contributions and dedicated service to the institution. The Governor wished him success in his future assignments and expressed confidence that he would continue to serve with the same professionalism and commitment.
