ITANAGAR, Oct 14: The Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC), a statutory body of the State Government, launched its official website on Wednesday to enhance transparency and facilitate access to information for stakeholders.

The website, www.appeirc.arunachal.gov.in, was launched by APPEIRC Chairperson Tsering Naksang at the Commission’s office on the DH&TE campus in ESS Sector, Itanagar.

Developed by the Department of Information Technology, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh, the website will provide information about the Commission, along with official notices, circulars, orders and other updates.

The Commission regulates eight private universities, 20 private colleges and seven nursing institutes in the state.

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh also conveyed a message on the occasion of the website launch. The Commission has encouraged educational institutions, students and members of the public to visit the website regularly to access relevant information. It said the portal would be updated periodically and welcomed feedback and suggestions for further improvement.
