Governor appeals for strict adherence of COVID 19 pandemic protocol.

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) after his visit to the National Capital, New Delhi, returned to the State Capital, Itanagar on 6th October 2020.

As per the COVID 19 pandemic protocol, Hon’ble Governor along with the First Lady of the State Smt Neelam Misra and ADC to Governor underwent the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at Innerline Check Gate, Banderdewa. They are now undergoing five days laid down Home Quarantine as per the guidelines issued by the State Government.

The Hon’ble Governor has appealed to all citizens of the State to observe strict COVID-19, precautionary protocol to check the spread of COVID-19. He has emphasised that covering the Nose and Mouth fully with Face Mask must be done by everyone when going out of the house.

Proper social distancing, as the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi ji calls it as “Do Gauz Ki Doori”, i.e. distance between two people of minimum 6 feet must be observed at every place including offices, shops, streets and other public places of interaction, he stressed.

The Hon’ble Governor sought for people’s cooperation in this regard, so that the State remains protected from Corona Virus Pandemic.

During his stay at New Delhi, the Governor had discussions with the Central leadership on the developmental issues of the State.
