ITANAGAR,Aug 07: Four day training on planning, management and administration for Head teachers of government upper primary school is being held with effect from 7th to 10th August at Dorgee Khandu State convention hall. Inaugurating the orientation programme as chief guest, Shri Honchum Ngandam Minister Education said this type of training on planning management and administration for the head teachers of UPS has been the first of its kind imparted in the state. The Minister emphasized that such training is must and mandatory in all organizations, departments , stake holders even in political parties, legislators to improve their skills knowledge experiences and working capabilities. Shri Ngandam further informed that the head teachers and the teachers as a whole should have proper planning management and strong administration through which they can make the student disciplined.
The elementary education is the basic foundation of the entire educational carrier through which the quality education can be improved. He called for better result in the next CBSE exam and successful implementation of smart class initiated by our Sate Chief Minister and further called upon the teaching community to inculcate quality education among the students in the state.
And earlier giving key note address to the trainees the Secretary Education, Dr. Madhu Rani Theotia IAS said the head teachers have the sole responsibility of running their schools properly and in order to do so they need to acquire such training of management and planning and further informed that the teachers play a very important role in imparting discipline and leadership quality and to prevent children from schools drop out.
The Director Elementary Education, Shri Tapi Gao informed that the department is planning to impart training to the teachers abroad, outside of the state like Ahmedabad in near future and 170 schools of the state have been selected so far for introducing smart classes. The head teachers of respective schools from different districts all over the state are participating the orientation programme with great enthusiasm.
