Governor inaugurates Mini Secretariat and SE (PWD) Office at Sagalee

Itanagar April13 :- Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig.(Dr.) B.D Mishra (Rtd.) inaugurated the Mini Secretariat Building at Sagalee and the Superintendent Engineer’s office at Bobia in presence of Shri Nabam Rebia, Minister (UD & TP), Shri Bamang Felix, Minister(PHE,IPR), Shri Tapuk Taku, Parl.Secy. (Tax& Ex), Shri Nabam Tuki, MLA, Shri Jalas Pertin, ADC amongst others.
While interacting with the officials, Gaon Burahs, PRI and Public leaders the Governor said that intention of each member should to bring development and economic upliftment in the society. Therefore, all should put in their efforts in this direction with utmost sincerity and honesty. Any development scheme should be implemented with accountability, transparency, continuity, review subject to audit and midcourse corrections and try to reach out to the last man in the last rung in the society. The Governor exhorted the people to be forthright and set example for the young generation to emulate. An educated society will always be progressive. Therefore, education should be given priority especially the girl child. If the mother is educated then the whole family will be educated, he said. Healthy mind resides in healthy body. If the surroundings and the atmosphere is clean, diseases will can be done away with. He urged all to take swachhta, in mission mode which will keep the environment clean and people healthy.
“Arunachal is endowed with natural beauty and abundance of natural resources. The natural beauty itself is enough to develop tourism around it. Such natural endowments should be identified and developed for posterity”, said the Governor.
The youth of the state should be encouraged to join army so that they are employed and their youth power is channelized in productive way. In this way we will get home grown soldiers to defend and protect our motherland.
