Aalo Jan 04: In its continued effort to make the Measles-Rubella vaccine to children under the age group of 9months to 15 years, the District Task Force reviewed the progress of work under the Chairmanship of West Siang Deputy Commissioner at her office chamber on 4th Jan last.
Chairing the meet, the DC stressed on intensifying the work at sppedy pace within the district so that no children are left uncovered under the programme. This national programme is time bound and no official engaged in the programme should be granted any kind of leave till completion of the programme. She also asked the medical and other line departments especially education, ICDS and
Administrative officers and Medical Officers in PHCs and CHC to keep focus on finalizing all required datas in the district and launch vigorous campaign in their respective jurisdictions.
The District medical Officer, Dr. Nyage Geyi sought the cooperation of all officers, PRIs and village authorities to launch the programme in an effective way in the district. The DFWO, Dr. Tomar kamki spelt out in detail about the feedbacks given from different administrative out through detail power point presentation and stressed on reviewing data backs in few circles.
